We were talking about the wall at Jericho.
These were some of the questions asked:
If the wall enclosed the city, then how did they get in? But...if you have gates, then how does it work as a defensive structure? People could just walk in the gates? But if you can close it, you can open it?
NOT from the same person that made the vegetarian comment. I weep. (Vegetarian comment, FYI, was on the topic of the theories about how agriculture came about--most of the early theories that agriculture is nutritionally better have been disproven: "So, did these theories come from vegetarians? 'Cause they sometimes really push their ideas")
TWO SEPARATE PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN ONE CLASS.
I need to go calm down before I commit justified homocide ("But officer, I was just trying to keep them from spawning! Can you imagine the hideous evil?")
