My computer will write CDs fine. Other computers will read CDs that my computer writes. My computer will reads CDs written by other computers fine. My computer absolutely refuses to read anything it writes itself.
I copied a bunch of documents on to a CD using my computer. It burned the CD, then refused to read it. I took the CD to the library, copied the docs to the computer, burned a new CD with those documents from the CD from my computer. M computer reads that CD fine.
